Achieving our Mandate

Our long-term strategic direction is communicated through our mission, vision and operating principles, providing a framework within which we fulfill our mandate. Our strategic focus areas, defined within the framework, provide the foundation for our goals and objectives. These strategic focus areas are: deposit protection and regulatory excellence; prevention; and corporate excellence. The annual planning cycle, involving everyone in the Corporation, determines the plans and priorities to achieve our goals. Our plans for 2008 are outlined here.
